Ali Black
Editor – Post Producer – Company Director
I have been a broadcast editor for over 40 years working for all the major networks. I started my career in 1976 at the ABC, on programs Torque, TDT, Holiday, The Sydney To Hobart Yacht Race. I moved on to 60 minutes for the Nine Network from commencement and stayed on for nearly 14 years. Witness for the Seven Network was my next stop and after the program finished edited Auction Squad and Renovation Rescue.
With my family, I moved to Ireland in 2004 working on documentaries and lifestyle programs and also gained experience in the prolific summer festivals that create a magical atmosphere in the villages and towns of rural Ireland celebrating their culture and history.
Since my return, I have continued editing for the Seven Network and also recently formed a company, Local Legends Festivals, to bring some of that Irish magic to our communities.
